Nicki Minaj recently dropped her second studio album “The Pinkprint” and the songs on the album were reportedly inspired by her now ex-fiance of 12 years, Safaree.
Just last week it was reported that Safaree was suicidal after the breakup with the rapper, and that Nicki may even be dating rapper Meek Mill. Well it all hit the fan on Twitter when Nicki decided to air out her dirty laundry, (well Safaree’s dirty laundry) and put their failed relationship all on blast. Nicki recently sat down with Angie Martinez and accused the ex of trying to blackmail her and even sell videos of her (not sure what type of videos.) She says that the breakup happened because all he wanted was fame, and all she wanted from him was love and he wasn’t able to reciprocate.
Nicki kicked it off with:

Well this just makes us so sad because, it was apparent Safaree was shocked that Nicki would take to Twitter to put him on blast. It is always clear that he is still hurt and is not trying to sling mud with his former bae. He signed into his Twitter to defend himself saying that their breakup didn’t have anything to do with his wanting fame. It was because Nicki hasn’t had any respect for him over the last few years. Wow Wow Wow. We can totally understand both parties here. It HAS to be hard dating a celebrity as huge as Nicki Minaj without your own brand, money and identity. I mean women do it all the time. BUT in the same breath over the years we have seen Safaree be down for Nicki and it’s heart breaking to see it all go down on Twitter.
