After three years of dating, musical couple Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have called it quits.
Last year, the Sparkle actress and her beau were talking about their future together and the possibility of marriage, but, according to E! News sources, they’ve decided to part ways.
Jordin and Jason are reportedly still friends and the decision to end their relationship was a mutual one.
As recently as September 8, Jordin continued to share photos of her and Jason on social media, and the two walked the red carpet together at the 2014 Music Video Awards show. The couple was also featured in an Us Weekly magazine spread recently.
Jason’s Talk Dirty tour is scheduled to start soon, and some reports indicate that Jason’s and Jordin’s busy lives left little time for them to spend together.
“They are both upset. It just wasn’t working. It was a lot of travel and hard to work with their schedules,” a source told Us Weekly.
Jason didn’t go into detail, but he did address the gossip during a radio interview Thursday.
“I’d rather not,” Jason told KDWB radio when asked to comment on the rumors. “Everything is cool, man. It’s not a bad situation. It’s not one of those kind of things.”
