Apollo Nida writing tell-all book

ApolloNidaReal Housewives of Atlanta” viewers may assume they see it all, but Apollo Nida may be spilling some behind-the-scenes tea in a new tell-all book.
The non-fiction work won’t focus solely on his reality TV life, but will be more of an autobiography, chronicling his rough upbringing and subsequent life of crime, according to TMZ.
Apollo has reportedly been working on the book for a while and is in a rush to complete it soon, before September 10, when he is scheduled to report to a Kentucky prison to serve his 8-year sentence for money fraud.
Earlier this year, Apollo told S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown, a few details about his childhood.
“I grew up without a mother and father,” he told Jamie. “My mom OD’d on heroin, actually in front of me when I was about 7. I never knew my dad.”
Without parental supervision, Apollo said the streets raised him until he was about 10 years old.
“I went from foster home to this person to that person. I got some structure probably around 10 when I moved to my great-aunt’s in the [Atlanta] suburbs and started going to school regularly,” he said.
Though he lost his way, not long after his sentencing, Apollo said he’s ready to turn his life around.
“I wanna stay prayed up, stay spiritual, and I kinda drifted away from that and became just a product of my environment,” he told STFU radio in July. “I’m supposed to go in there, recreate myself the way that I did the first time, but this time don’t lose myself.”
Although Apollo’s wife, Phaedra Parks, is an author in her own right, TMZ reported that he’s look at several writers to help with his autobiography. It’s unclear whether Phaedra is one of them.
