Kevin Hart isn’t the only “Atlanta Exes” husband who’s felt the need to defend himself against the show’s fans.
Ne-Yo, who was once engaged to cast member Monyetta Show, posted a
message to Instagram letting viewers know that he has apologized to
Monyetta for ending their relationship that she thought was leading to
marriage.
“I’ve made my apologies to the people I feel I wronged. I was
forgiven by those people. Anybody else passing judgment on me for my
past mistakes and immaturities is more than welcome to it,” he said.
Many “Atlanta Exes” viewers have chosen #TeamMonyetta, especially
after hearing how the crooner ended their relationship over the phone
and encouraged her to undergo surgery that would prevent her from having
more children.
On the show, Monyetta wept at the idea that if she meets a new man,
she won’t be able to provide him with kids if he desires them.
Ne-Yo didn’t address the matters specifically, but reasoned that he’s an imperfect human just like everyone else.
“To all the perfect beings out there who feel so worthy to judge my
imperfection…..ENJOY THE SHOW,” he wrote next to an image that read:
“Pause before you start judging, criticizing or mocking others.
EVERYBODY is fighting their own unique war.”
